We have already reported several times in our recent blog posts about green and social tourism offers as well as sustainable regions in Thailand. Some of these small tour operators and even whole destinations were awarded for their sustainable approach: the organization HiveSters with its APPEAR project, travelers experience the original town quarters of Bangkok or the Moken municipality of Tung Dap where guests collect authentic experiences including homestay! Moreover, this year the Krabi region was honored as “Global Low-Carbon Ecological Scenic Spot”. So many inspiring projects!
